You can easily install Secure Privacy on your website by following the steps below -
- Select available pre-translated languages for the cookie banner/privacy center/cookie declaration/data request form
- Configure target audiences for the consent banner
Install Secure Privacy on website/subdomain
To add the automated blocking script to your site, go to the installation page and copy the script.
Open your website/CMS code view and paste the code in the top most of the head tag.
- Customize colors & styles to match website branding
The colors and styling can be applied across all banners and widgets, with each domain on your account having own style to reflect your branding.
- Select available pre-translated languages
Secure Privacy automatically translates the cookie consent banner (and other consent UI elements) according to the browser language the website visitor uses. Make sure to enable the languages your website visitors need, otherwise it will be defaulted to English.
Configure target audiences for the consent banner
You may want to show the cookie consent banner to all users or only those belonging to the affected by appropriate legislation or temporary disable it.
Set up the Trust Badge widget on your website
The Trust Badge allows website visitors to change their cookie and privacy controls automatically from your website. This can be implemented in a few different ways: it can be as a floating widget, an embedded button or a simple hyperlink inside footer/menu.
Configure default blocking for cookies and services
Please be advised that only essential cookies (critical to your website functioning) are allowed to prechecked by default under the GDPR regulations - these will still be placed even if the user selects to reject all cookies by clicking the X button on the cookie consent banner.
