How to rename the title of the “Data Request Form” tab

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Preference Center” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Select the “Language” you pertain to work with from the drop-down menu.

Click the “Data Request Form” tab to switch into edit mode, change the text according to your legal requirements.

Click the green tick to the right and above of the edited text to apply changes made.

Click the “Save” button.
How to edit the text content on form control elements

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Data request form” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Select the “Language” you pertain to work with from the drop-down menu.

Click any control element to switch into edit mode, change the text according to your legal requirements.

Click the green tick to the right and above of the edited text to apply changes made.

Click the “Save” button when you finished all edits.
How to edit/delete a control element on Data Request form

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Data request form” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Select the “Language” you pertain to work with from the drop-down menu.

Click on the “Edit” link on any control element to open the “Edit control” modal window

Change the text of the selected Label according to your legal requirements.

The “Validation” option allows making this control element “Required” (this form will not be submitted to you until the user fills this field).

Click the green “Save” button to apply the changes made.

The red “Delete control” button removes this particular control field from your Data request form
How to modify notification messages for Data Request form

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Data request form” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Click on “Edit notification messages” link.

Select the “Language” you pertain to work with from the drop-down menu.

Change any notification message to your needs

Click the green “Save” button to apply the changes made.
How to enable/disable the Data Request form

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Data request form” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Click on the “Settings” link to access configurable parameters for your Data Request form.

The “Enable Data request form” switch enables/disables the Data Request form for your domain.
-
The “Verify users email” parameter ensures that a user has to verify email first to confirm identity.
-
“Send data request emails to” sets the email address of a person within your company that processes Data Export/Removal/Other requests.

Click the green “Save” button to apply the changes made.
How to change automated emails of Data Request form to customers

Login into your Secure Privacy account, select GDPR/CCPA/LGPD accordingly on the left sidebar.

Click the “Data request form” link, you will be shown the “Edit Text” tab.

Click on the “Email Templates” link.

Select the “Language” you pertain to work with from the drop-down menu.
Note: the page contains field templates to use inside email templates to make them personalized -
The “Request received template” allows for modifying the template of emails sent to your company with the data your user provided.

The “User verification template” sends the email verification link back to the user to confirm their identity.

Click the green “Save” button to apply the changes made.
