If you use Adobe Launch (Adobe Experience Platform Tags) to manage your website's scripts and tags, you can inject the Secure Privacy cookie consent script directly through a Launch rule. This enables cookie blocking and preference center functionality for your visitors without modifying your site's source code.
Before you begin: You will need your unique Secure Privacy installation script. Log in to your Secure Privacy account at secureprivacy.ai and copy the script from the Domains → Installation page.
Steps to Install the Secure Privacy Script via Adobe Launch
In Adobe Launch, create a new rule and configure the event using the settings shown below. This defines when the Secure Privacy script will be triggered on your website.
Click "Keep Changes" to save the event configuration.
Within the same rule, click "Add Action" and configure the action as shown below.
Click "Keep Changes" to save the action settings, then click "Open Editor" to access the HTML code editor.
In the code editor, add your published Cookie Banner script and your Secure Privacy installation script to the HTML code field. The final setup should look similar to the example below.
Click "Keep Changes", then save and publish your rule to deploy the Secure Privacy script across your website.
The Secure Privacy cookie consent script is now active on your website via Adobe Launch.
Common Issues and Fixes
Cookie banner is not appearing on the website.
Check that the rule is published in Adobe Launch and that both the event and action are configured correctly. Unpublished rules will not fire on your live site.
The Secure Privacy script is not blocking cookies.
Verify that the Secure Privacy installation script is correctly inserted into the HTML code editor within the action. Also check for any conflicting scripts on your site that may be loading cookies before the Secure Privacy script fires.
