How Do I Trigger a Website Scan for a US Location?

This article explains how to trigger a website rescan from different locations (EU and US) using Secure Privacy, allowing you to enable or update services and cookies for your privacy policy and cookie declaration appropriately.

How to Trigger a Website Scan for a US Location
- Log into your Secure Privacy account and select the domain you want to work with.
- Navigate to the Scan report section in the left sidebar.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- From the Scan Location dropdown, select United States.
- Tap Save to apply the changes.
- Return to the Scan report tab and click Rescan website to start scanning with the new location settings.
Note: Currently, only two scan locations are supported: European Union and United States.
Common Issues & Fixes
- Scan location does not update
- Ensure you have saved the settings after selecting the scan location.
- Rescan does not start
- After changing location, make sure to navigate back to the Scan Report tab and manually click Rescan website.
